Leg veins/spider veins are treated uniquely at Vitality as we have not one but two different lasers to address the vascular component of your veins. IPL require no needles or compression wrapping and there is no downtime. The key to success when treating vascular lesions is to find the right wave length of light for the particular skin tone. Not all your veins are blue, some may be reddish or even purple. As such, having two lasers to address these qualities makes all the difference! Laser treatment of leg veins requires no down-time, no compression and may need up to 4 treatments. The longer the vein has been there the more stubborn it is to remove.

What to expect after the treatment?

Possible temporary redness, itching, bruising and/or swelling in the treated area. These are not common occurances and we expect you will be able to return to work or your regular routine immediately.

How Should I Prepare for My Treatment?

You should avoid sun exposure and tanning (including artificial tanning products and procedures) before and after your treatments. Also, you should discontinue the use of any blood thinners, prescription or herbal. Please consult Dr. Tami if you are unsure if your medication has blood thinning effects.
