Its unique, integrated StarPulse feature enables the treatment of benign vascular, including telangiectasia on the leg and face, and pigmented surface lesions, including leg veins. In the past these marks had not responded satisfactorily to removal attempts with previous lasers. The treatment is tolerable even in babies without anesthesia, although more difficult in young children since they do not understand the process. Embarrassing redness, flushing, sun-damaged, and aging skin can be noticeably improved.

What Can I Expect?
Treatment with these lasers has been very effective and less painful than past treatments for facial redness due to veins, because we can treat a large area of veins with one pulse. A series of treatments, can effectively improve facial redness and flushing in fair-skinned individuals. Typically 1 - 6 treatments are done 3 weeks apart. The procedure is nearly painless so it can be done after simply applying a topical numbing cream to the skin. Treatment does not remove your skin, so there is no downtime for healing; simply apply makeup and go back to work. You may experience redness and mild swelling. You can expect to see a gradual decrease in overall redness, flushing and dilated capillaries.
