LATISSE - THE MOST EXCITING PRODUCT FOR THICK EYELASHES
New York dermatologist Dr. Patricia Wexler appeared on The TODAY Show recently to discuss at home anti-aging treatments. Dr. Wexler featured a variety of aesthetic products, including LATISSE, which she featured as the only FDA-approved product to increase the length and thickness of eyelashes. Dr. Wexler said it is "the most exciting thing out." Host Kathie Lee Gifford asks if it works even for people who have plucked out all their eyelashes, in which Dr. Wexler explains that it would work if they still had hair follicles. Dr. Wexler notes the cost of LATISSE is around $120, and the LATISSE packaging is shown on screen as well as a super noting the latisse.com Web site. At the end of the segment, Dr. Wexler also mentions over-the-counter eyelash growth products, including a visual product display of Revitalash, but Dr. Wexler notes that they are more expensive and does not go into detail on them. How About Some Snake Venom To Smooth Those Wrinkles?
A new skin treatment cream that softens wrinkles contains a form of snake venom. The key ingredient is a synthetic version of the poison of the Temple Viper, a snake common in Thailand.
Seattle, WA (PRWEB) March 20, 2009 -- A new skin treatment contains synthesized snake venom to soften facial lines and wrinkles without injections. Amino acids in the venom block nerve signals telling muscles to contract, which helps to stop wrinkles forming. Unlike Botox, it allows face movement and expressions of emotion, but lessens wrinkles and paralyzes muscles which cause skin creases.

Since the venom is a synthesized version, no snakes are harmed in making the skin treatment, but it works the same way as venom to constrict muscles all over the face.
