Some brown spots are melasma, which is often worsened during pregnancy or with exposure to the sun.
Melasma can be diagnosed by a physician and can be superficial, mixed or deep. Though the majority of melasma is mixed, it is best to view melasma under a Wood’s lamp to accurately diagnose and thus best treat it.
Melasma is best treated with a one time peel designed specifically for melasma called Melanage. It is a significant peel with several days of social down time (looking quite red). The results are amazing!
