Q: Does my fertility increase while on HCG?
A: No, it does not cause and increase or decrease in your fertility. HCG doses are small and do not alter your chances of becoming pregnant or decrease the effectiveness of your birth control. Having said that, many women desiring to become pregnant have PCOS and weight loss significantly increases their chances of becoming pregnant after the HCG diet has been completed.

Q: Will I test positive for a pregnancy test?
A:Yes, it will cause a “Positive” result, as the HCG dose is similar to that found women who are in their 14th day of pregnancy.

Q: Can I do the HCG diet if I am pregnant?
A: No, the HCG diet is not recommended for women who are pregnant, or attempting to become pregnant.

Q: Can I breastfeed while on the HCG diet?
A: No, the HCG diet is not recommended to breastfeeding women.

Q: Can HCG effect my menstrual cycle?
A: Possibly on an individual basis. Some women have reported changes in an increased or decreased flow, most report no significant change at all. If one experiences changes they are temporary and cause no health concerns.

Q: During menstruation are there any adjustment to the HCG Program?
A: Yes, but they are only minimally disruptive. On the first day of full flow menstruation stop taking the HCG for 3 days. The rest of protocol remains unchanged.
